Mas Rovira is an old oil mill located in the Pla de l'Estany , a small region highly appreciated for its rural landscapes and tranquility.

Strategically located between the Gironès, the Alt Empordà and La Garrotxa, the hotel is in a privileged environment , surrounded by oaks, holm and olive trees. Situated halfway up the mountain, it offers excellent panoramic views . Declared a protected area of natural interest, it stands out for its peace and tranquility, at only 5 minutes by car from the lake and the city of Banyoles.

Originally, the house was built in the 12th century , after the abandonment of the Roman settlement of Vilauba, close to the location. After a major restoration process (completed in 2005), the house became what we can enjoy today. Distributed in 8 independent apartments fully equipped and functional, with a capacity of between 2 and 4 people, Mas Rovira is the ideal Rural Hotel for those who love nature, peace and tranquility.
